The North Port Area Women's Club hosts several events and activities throughout the year in its effort to raise scholarship funds. We have been fortunate to have the support of our wonderful community which has made each of our functions a success. You too can get involved. The NPAWC Newsletter is produced every month. The newsletter contains contact numbers for officers, minutes of meetings, and articles of interest. Business card ads may be submitted for publication in the newsletter for only $40 a year: a great, affordable, way to get the word out and advertise your business adventures. Recycling Program
Recycle all your aluminum at Don’s Recycling on Trott Circle. Ask that credit for the aluminum be credited to NPAWC. We periodically get a nice check from your recycling to help support our scholarships and other projects.

Themed Luncheon, featuring uniquely decorated tables. This is one of our signature events for raising scholarship funds and everyone has lots of fun. This event is so popular it gets bigger and bigger every year! Annual NPAWC Goofy Golf
A best ball foursome women’s golf tournament held in late summer or early fall for golfers of all abilities or inabilities. The tournament is a great day of fun and non-serious golf to raise funds for the scholarships we award. The community has really backed the tournament with donations of money and gifts for the golfers. Fun tournament for the golfer and the wannabe golfer! No experience needed, all you need is a team of 4 women who want to have lots fun. If you have your own clubs great, if not we have a few to borrow and we'll even throw in a quick lesson on how to swing them before you head out to the course. Following the nine hole tournament a delicious lunch is served. "Glamour Shot Day"
Kyle Kurtis Salon & Spa and Island Photographics are coming together to present "Glamour Shot Day" for the North Port Area Women's Club to help raise money for the scholarship fund. "Glamour Shot Day" will take place November 22nd 9 am - 4 p.m and November 23 from 10-2. The cost is $25.00 per person and all proceeds will go to the NPAWC scholarship fund. You will receive One 4x6 photo, more can be purchased at a special cost. Apponintments are being made for every half hour. To make an appoinment please call Amy Schuldt at 941-257-2122! Holiday Raffle: 32" Flat Screen TV
Tickets were sold for 3 for $5. Drawing was held December 9, 2009 at the Olde World Restaurant at 6:00 pm. (Winner did not need to be present to win). Our holiday raffle has been one of our highly successful fund raising projects. All proceeds from ticket sales went towards our 2010 scholarship awards.
RADA Cutlery
Orders can be placed for quality kitchen implements by calling Lois Kaczor at 423-8342. Our scholarships benefit from the proceeds.
